Stand up straight, holding a barbell in front of you with an overhand grip.

Your hands should be shoulder-width apart and your elbows should be slightly bent.

Slowly lift the barbell up towards your chin, keeping it close to your body.

Pause at the top for a moment and then slowly lower the barbell back down.

Repeat this movement for the programmed number of reps, making sure not to jerk or swing the barbell.
