Step-by-step instructions

Place a barbell across your shoulders as if you were about to perform a barbell squat.

Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.

Lower your body into a squat, bending at the knees and hips but keeping your back straight.

Then, burst upwards from your squat, using your legs and heels to propel you into the air.

Land gently and lower back into a squat to prepare for the next rep. Be careful not to round your back as you land.
