Step-by-step instructions

Start with the barbell on the ground, standing over it so your shins touch the bar and feet are shoulder-width apart.

Bend down to grip the barbell, keeping your back straight as you do. Your grip should be wider than your hips.

Lift the barbell up to your shoulders. Stand tall, pulling your elbows high up towards the ceiling.

In one swift motion, rotate your elbows under the bar and press it upwards until your arms are straight above your head.

Lower the barbell back to your shoulders, then to the floor. Repeat for your desired number of reps.
