You talked, and we listened! Starting today, things will look a little different. We’ve still got all the features you love in the CoPilot app, plus new habits to offer you when or if you want to add them. Let’s dive in!
We are expanding beyond just fitness coaching to include more opportunities to succeed. Our clients who worked on multiple areas of their lives saw 9X more progress and long-term changes in their lives! So we decided to adopt a holistic view of health covering movement, nutrition, mindfulness, and recovery routines.
Remember your plan is made FOR YOU. You don't have to change your current program or plan. But if you'd like to add in other habits, talk with your coach, they will build you a program based on the habits you want to work on. There’s no need, or pressure, to work on multiple habits at one time. Take things at your pace.
Movement: Movement includes things you do in your daily routine (like standing or walking), any activity you enjoy that gets you moving around, as well as your traditional workouts. Improve your health by doing things you can do, want to do, and enjoy doing! Whether you like to get in a full-body workout or only have time for a 3-minute walk, you’ll start where you are to work towards a healthier, happier you.
Nutrition: What you fuel your body with makes a massive difference in how you feel and your overall health. Tackle small nutrition-based habits with your coach and improve your relationship with food. Start small with what you can do today and gradually build on your new routines. This might be something like “drink three glasses of water” or “eat two vegetables.”
Mindfulness: It’s easy to go into autopilot when you’re busy, tired, stressed, or distracted. Taking time to pause and be in the moment calms the mind and makes you more aware of your thoughts and actions. Your coach will support you with various mindfulness routines, from breathing techniques to mindful eating. Start with simple habits like “put your fork down in between bites” or “do a deep breathing exercise for 1 minute before bed.”
Recovery: When was the last time you made rest a priority? Recovery routines are all about developing good self-care routines for your mind and body. You might try gentle stretches, take a break from the screen, or focus on getting a better night's sleep. Your coach will help you make small (doable) plans.
A shift from streaks to celebrations: Have you ever felt discouraged or frustrated seeing a habit streak reset to zero? Well, we've been there too. Change is hard, and life happens.
With the new CoPilot app, streaks never reset to zero. Instead, you’ll see an ever-growing tally of days you’ve completed at least one healthy routine or habit (not just workouts). Join us in celebrating small moments and victories by focusing on what you can do today..
If you’re a current app user, don’t worry, your current streak number will automatically move over into the new habit day counter. As a bonus, each time you complete a day, you’ll be rewarded with a message from our habit characters.
Move your way: Enjoy all of the personalized workout plans your coach has already been creating for you, with the option to choose even more types of movement! Coaches can now assign any built-in Apple Watch or Apple Health trackable activities.
Start your movement activity on your Apple Watch or Apple Health compatible app and complete it as usual. The next time you open the CoPilot app, the workout will automatically be logged. If you forget to use your watch, you can manually mark the workout as complete.
Home screen: The home screen was revamped, and it’s looking beautiful. The focus is now on today. This helps you stay focused on what matters… what you can do today.
When you've completed all of your tasks for the day, the home screen shifts into a celebration screen. All of the other items that used to be on the home screen are still available to you.
Workouts: Any movement (fitness) tasks appear on the home screen for the current day. You can also click on the “workout” button at the bottom of the home screen.
Workouts that you didn't get to will automatically move to the next day. You can see past workouts (or other habits) by clicking on the calendar button and clicking on the day you want to view.
Workout player: Oh baby, the workout player just got even better. Based on your feedback, we’ve made the workout play more user-friendly. The buttons are a little larger for easier clicking, the font for exercise directions and labels are bigger, and the screen has been optimized for one-handed scrolling.
Leaderboard & stats: If data is your jam, you can still view the leaderboard, progress logs, workout logs, time stats, and fitness score by clicking the data tab at the bottom of the home screen. If you’re not a stat person, that's okay. You can ignore this section.
Calendar: To get a big picture view of progress, click on the calendar icon at the bottom of the home screen. You’ll see a solid checkmark for days you completed at least one of your assigned tasks, a shaded checkmark for rest days, and colored dots representing the different types of habits you’ve completed. You might only be working on one or two at a time, so it’s normal not to see all four colors show up.
Guest passes: Did you know you can give your family and friends a 30-day free CoPilot trial? Click on the ticket icon on the top right corner of your app and share your CoPilot journey with the people you care about.
